Sometimes after a heavy rain or in the spring time usually in the month of May.When are the Calif deserts supposed to be in bloom?
I always thought right around now... depending on the weather. Last year they were in bloom a little earlier (late March, if I remember correctly)... but I think that's because it was exceptionally warm last year.
