Not if there is still any bloom still in them. It is always best to wait until after the first freeze to cut any woody perennial back. However, this is not always necessary because most just die back to the ground anyhow.Do you cut back cold hardy Hibiscus after they bloom?
I'm in full agreement with the other poster.
We live in a warm winter zone 7, and we let them die to the ground. If there is anything sticking up, we cut it off to make the yard look nice.
