Silk Mimosa Trees are beautiful BUT they make a mess in my yard, pool,etc. Can anything be done to stop bloom

Indeed a poor choice at poolside. Most trees that are removed are due to poor selection. The blooms of the Mimosa are precisely why they are planted. There really is nothing you can do to stop them. Either remove the tree or try to focus on enjoying the flowers while they are in season.
