When bulbs bloom, as in a calandar date, will very much depend on WHERE they are growing. Spring comes earlier in the South, and moves North over a period of weeks. So the same variety of bulb may bloom 4-6 weeks earlier in Zone 8 than it does in Zone 4 or 5.
Crocuses and Snowdrops appear first. In late winter (Around here, late February into early March). Daffodils generally come in early spring. Tulips come early, middle and late spring, depending on the type - there are lots of varieties of each.
That should get you going.Where can I find a list of when certain bulbs bloom?
I buy bulbs from a company called ';Brecks of Holland.'; They have a very extensive website that should answer your questions. They have fabulous bulbs, if you're looking.
