When do water lily's bloom?

We recently move into an area with wetlands nearby. There are water lily's there and I would love to photograph them. Can anyone tell me a time frame of when to expect blooms in southeastern Michigan?When do water lily's bloom?
The best answer I could find was ';from June through September,'; and I ran across a forum stating water lilies were blooming in Toronto in mid-June. You should make a habit of visiting the wetlands often so you know when the plants begin to bloom. Your wild lilies may not conform to the same timetable as those found in parks and botanical gardens.
