Help, how is Bloom's taxonomy useful in teaching?

I understand the chart but can only think that it helps define to the student what the teacher expects and the level they expect the student to do it own. If you know more than me or understand it differently please answer.Help, how is Bloom's taxonomy useful in teaching?
I think it is one of the tools that can be used to let the students explore different levels of learning and experience. It can be a building block approach for students to work towards higher levels of thinking and experience.


I have used it in my classes many times, however, I have also combined it with Gardiner's Multiple Intelligences work as well.Help, how is Bloom's taxonomy useful in teaching?
It helps bring out comprehension by helping students think of things in a different way.
